Udyam Registration Information Checklist
Prepare Aadhaar, PAN, GST-linked and enterprise information for a secure Udyam application.

Prepare Aadhaar, PAN, GST-linked and enterprise information for a secure Udyam application. Use the sections below to understand the practical decisions, records and compliance points before taking action.
A paperless process still needs accurate preparation
The official portal describes Udyam as paperless and based on self-declaration without document upload. Applicants should nevertheless prepare source information before beginning because inaccurate Aadhaar, PAN, address, activity or bank details can undermine the registration.
Use the correct Aadhaar holder
For proprietorship use the proprietor Aadhaar; for partnership the managing partner; for HUF the karta. Companies, LLPs, societies, cooperatives and trusts follow the authorised-signatory framework with PAN and GSTIN as applicable.
Prepare enterprise identity and address
Confirm legal and trade name, organisation type, commencement date, official address, email and mobile. List relevant plant or unit locations and ensure the address is genuine and consistent with tax and business records.
Map activities and NIC codes
Identify whether the enterprise undertakes manufacturing, services or both and choose NIC codes that accurately describe operations. Do not add unrelated activities merely to widen the certificate.
Review financial and employment information
Prepare bank details, persons employed, plant or equipment investment and turnover information. PAN and GST-linked data is integrated under the official framework, so tax records should support the declaration.
Protect credentials and verify submission
Use only the official portal or government single-window systems. Do not share Aadhaar OTPs casually. Review every field and declaration, retain the URN and certificate securely and verify the dynamic QR information after issue.
